Well, it's still not "totally" complete (is ANY room ever "totally" complete), I still need to find curtains (yep, that's just a sheet - but I can't find curtains in the right color red!) and there is still paint touch up to be done, his bed & bookshelf needs to be painted (warmer weather!!). But, this is probably as clean good as it will get. So time for the BIG BOY ROOM REVEAL! One more reminder, here's the Before:
And now the After:
And now the After:
I enjoyed updating Noah's room so much, I just knew he was going to LOVE it! And he did! I spent hours online researching Seuss decor, Seuss rooms, Seuss websites, etc., etc., etc., you get the idea. We gave him a full room make-over for fairly cheap too! Less than $400 (including new furniture). I ordered most of the accesories from Seussland.com (3 Seuss baskets, art for the walls [abc & 123 cards], growth chart, Cat In the Hat, & metal bucket), his new bed is from Ikea (Yay for Ikea), the painted red frames and red shelves are all from Ikea. His new shelving & red baskets are from Target. His bedding was a birthday gift from his grandparents, and his bean bag chair was Christmas present from Santa. Oh yea, and his current "curtain" is a flat bed sheet from Ikea. {PS, excuse my pictures, I just recently started playing with Picnik, and MAY have gone a bit overboard on the fun effects}
I'm still in LOVE with his bedding, and love snuggling up with him in it! Now I'm obsessed with finding my own PB bedding for my "big girl" bed! heh
framed ABC cards (cheap & easy art)
Guess I should enjoy it while I can, his room is NEVER this clean!
I'm loving this new storage for toys, makes clean-up (and finding certain toys) SO much easier!
Those blocks are my arch nemisis! They are ALWAYS all over the house, I even find them in MY room!
His bookshelf that will get a new paint treatment, once the weather is nice again! (yes, my kid is a rock star, you should see his cool 'moves' while he plays that guitar!)
Love these cute little baskets!
More of his fun seuss-cessories. Like his matching Scentsy burner? It was the January burner of the month, matched his room PERFECTLY and was free (b/c I hosted a party) Can't beat that! I burn orange dreamcicle in his room & it smells delicious!
There you have it, Noah's big boy room (complete with 2 fish art since he's 2!) Thanks for stopping by to peek into Noah's room. He's really enjoying his "big boy" bed and room. And when we play in there he likes to tell me "mama, it looks good!". Silly boy!

You did an awesome job on his big boy room. Love the colors. It's so bright and cheerful.
This room looks so great! Why not leave the sheet and either sew or iron on some lining? Problem solved.
I love it!! You did a great job... My daughter had some blocks similar to those and I hated stepping on them... GREAT JOB!
That room is soooo awesome!! I am so jealous that Aedan doesn't have it. He does have the guitar however, and man can he rock out too. It would be fun to see Noah and Aedan rocking out together with them. :)
I love it! It is sooo cute! I really love the framed alphabet cards, I might have to steal that idea.
That looks great! I seriously love that blanket too! Did you make that, I totally want one now, but my husband would never let me put that on the bed, maybe just for a cozy/snuggly blanket.
Hun, you did an amazing job! What a lucky little guy to have a fabulous room like that--I love it!
Way cute room. I love the framed cards and the bedding. I bet he's loving his new room.
I LOVE it!!! Great job!
Ok...my two favorite things about this post: you're using Picnik (LOVE THAT SITE!!!!) I actually won premium membership & it just recently ran out. Must renew!!! Annnnnd....(drumroll please) The COWBOYS foam finger!!! Woo hoo! Ours is sitting on our bathroom counter up against the mirror. Seriously! I guess that's Tony's big boy room. Ahh ha ha! Very cute, mama!!
What an awesome room! I love that bookcase. I think the 'curtain looks great.
I think you have done an AWESOME job so far. I love his room and I am sure he does too! It looks great.
Sooo cute!!! You did an AWESOME job on his room!! I love all the details!! I have some candlesticks that I use at Christmas and hubby always says they remind him of Dr. Suess, lol!! I bet the little guy is estatic with his new room!
It is Sooooo cute Heidi. Why not use the sheet. I think it would be cute to find a blue and white strip to along with it or shutters would be cute too.
